Winemaker's Notes about Tanguay Wines

Chardonnay

Our Chardonnay is created in the classic Chablis style. It is an old world style Chardonnay with traditional sur lees aging, and a new world twist of aging it without oak. This allows for a crisp full bodied white that has the characteristics of the grape shining through, without "veiling" or masking it with oak.

Serve Chilled.

Pair with salmon, lobster or with shellfish. Particularly good with poultry and white meats in cream sauce.

Riesling

Fragolino

Enjoyed as one of Italy’s favorite wine cocktails, America has been long deprived of this taste sensation. Derived from a native American grape and a small addition of alpine strawberries Their lightly sparkled wine is always sold out before the next vintage is released.

The vintners of Tanguay & Son have put in many years of research to recreate this exquisite wine cocktail. With its intense strawberry nose and unique flavor bursting on to the palate, every sip leaves you longing for another. Serve lightly chilled in a champagne flute.
